Jackson Pate

(Jefferson) Jackson Pate, 77, died Thursday, June 20, 2019.  A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 P.M., Crossroad Baptist Church, Rev. Derrick McQueen and Rev. Dr. Waldo Robinson will officiate.  

Jackson Pate, a son of the late Rob Raley and the late Ruby Gale Carpenter was born June 29, 1941 in Lancaster County, SC.  He was married to Elizabeth Hough Pate.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth H. Pate of Jefferson, SC, one son Douglas Jackson Pate (Lisa) of Atlanta, GA, god son, Steven Taylor of Jefferson, SC, two daughters, Maxine Pate of Jefferson, SC, Joyce Dixon (Eric) of Monroe, NC, god daughter, Melody Davis (George) of Kershaw, SC, one brother, Leonard Carpenter of Washington, DC, one sister, Ruth Allen of Washington, DC, five grandchildren, Douglas Jackson Pate Jr. (Sarah), Davis Dixon, Ginger Pate, Mya Dixon, Deja Linton, two great grandchildren, Jacob Pate, Layla Pate, three god brothers, Johnny Pate (Debra) of Kershaw, SC, Gordon Pate (Rachel), Jerome Pate all of Jefferson, SC, god sisters, Serena Berford, Kathy Pate both of Lexington, NC, Sarah Pate of Heath Springs, SC, special friends, Bill Amos, Billie Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

    He was preceded in death by four brothers, Earnest Carpenter, Gregory Carpenter, Roger Carpenter, Richard Carpenter, two sisters, Maxine Carpenter, Eleanor Carpenter
