Mark Mungo

(Charlotte) Mark Mungo, 78, died Friday, September 27, 2019, Funeral Service Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. Faith CME Church in Charlotte, NC, Rev. Laura Wilson will officiate with Entombment in York Memorial Cemetery, Charlotte, NC. Viewing will be Friday October 4, 2019 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. here at the funeral home and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mark Mungo, a son of the late Robert “Bob” Mungo and the late Ethel Newman Mungo was born in Kershaw, South Carolina on May 23, 1941. He was married to Carrie Tillman Mungo.

Survivors include, his wife of Charlotte, NC, four sons William White of Richmond, VA, Darnell White of New York, NY, Mark Mungo II of Surprise, AZ, Ray Mungo of Clinton, NY, four daughters, Faith White of Fayetteville, NY, Liz Mungo of Brooklyn, NY, Anette Mungo of Charleston, SC, three sisters, Elizabeth Mungo Smith of Charlotte, NC, Carletta M. Foster and Euthemia Mungo both of Charlotte, NC
