(Heath Springs) Rev. Jannie Edwards Duren, 87, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019.  Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM, Mt. Calvary AME Zion Church. Rev. Scott will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove # 2 AME Zion Church cemetery. Viewing will be Sunday, May 26, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Crawford Funeral Home. 

Rev. Jannie Edwards Duren, a daughter of the late Anthony Edwards and the late Patience Drakeford Edwards was born August 8, 1931 in Kershaw, SC.

Survivors include four daughters, Theritha Duren, Alvesta D. Cody, Patricia D. Duren all of Charlotte, NC, Elouise Cummings of Monroe, NC, five brothers, Ralph Duren,  David Duren, Grover B. Duren  all of Charlotte, NC, Jonathan Duren of Rosamond CA, Thomas A. Duren of Ohio.
