OBITUARY

Sam Waters

    (Lancaster)  Sam Waters, 85 , died Thursday, December 20, 2018.  Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00 PM, Crawford Funeral Home Chapel, Bishop Bernard Hamilton and Rev. Kenneth Cauthen will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Arant AME Zion Church Cemetery. Viewing was held Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Crawford Funeral Home.

Sam Waters, a son of the late  Curtis and Mattie White Waters was born August 10, 1933 in Chester County, South Carolina.  

Survivors include  two sons, Larry Waters and Johnny Waters both of Lancaster, South Carolina, four daughters, Vanessa Waters , Brenda Waters, Shonda Catoe, Vivian Waters all of Lancaster, South Carolina, two sisters, Mary Ann Chambers of Chester, SC, Scyellea Hubbard of Lancaster, SC, twenty nine grandchildren, forty six great grandchildren seven great great grandchildren.
