Shay Twitty

 Shay Twitty, humbly bowed to God’s will and peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Chester County, SC.  A daughter of Peggy M. Twitty, was born February 17, 1982 in Lancaster, South Carolina.

     Shay was a member of Second Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where she enjoyed fellowshipping with her church family.

    Shay was educated in the Lancaster County School District and attended Andrew Jackson High School in Kershaw, SC.  She continued her education at York Technical College in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

     Shay embraced life and was blessed with a vibrant personality that attracted people into her circle. She enjoyed dancing, singing, cooking, target practice, playing cards, listening to music but most of all she loved shopping and took great pride in her appearance especially her hair she bought the best bundles she could.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her children, family and friends.  She was truly a people person she was a community teacher by giving love and support wherever needed.   She lived life to the fullest and did it her way. To know her was to love her and she was loved by many.  

     Left to cherish loving memories are mother, Peggy M. Twitty of Heath Springs, SC, one daughter, Shay’nijaonna Hayden of Heath Springs, SC, two sons, Quavis Hayden Jr, D’Markieoun Clyburn both of Heath Springs, SC, two sisters, Martika Twitty and Tiffany Craig both of Lancaster, SC, five brothers Eddrick Twitty of Charlotte, NC, Jason Twitty of Heath Springs, SC, Javon Twitty of Lancaster, SC, Tito Twitty of Heath Springs, SC, Rev. Phildrick Truesdale (Janna) of Charlotte, NC, grandmother, Willie B. Twitty of Heath Springs, SC, one niece, Di’monee Shumpert of Charlotte, NC,  three nephews, Fred Elder, Maciahis Clark of Lancaster, SC,  Eddrick Twitty Jr. of Charlotte, NC,  two specials aunts, Lucielle Ballard of Lancaster, SC, Eleanor Twitty of Heath Springs, SC, special uncle, Robert Twitty of Heath Springs, SC,  god mother, Odessa White of Pineville, NC, companion, Quavis  Hayden Sr. of Lancaster, SC, two special cousins, Trel George
