Andrew Lee George, humbly bowed to God’s will and peacefully entered into
eternal rest on Sunday, February 4, 2024 in Charlotte, NC. A son of the late
Chalmers George and the late Mae Francis Blackmon was born February 2,
1956 in Lancaster, South Carolina.
Andrew was reared in a Christian environment and accepted Christ at an early
age.
Andrew was educated in the Lancaster County School District. He was self-
employed as a talented mechanic.
He was passionate about everything he did. Andrew enjoyed fast automobiles.
He had a passion for sports cars and was a professional biker. However, his
greatest passion was spending time with family and friends. To know him was
to love him and he will be missed by all.
Left to cherish loving memories are his two daughters, Tiauna Patterson
(Shenika Howard) of Lancaster, SC, Faith George of Kershaw, SC, three
brothers, Artis Blackmon (Sandra) of Charlotte, NC, Charles George (Melissa)
of Lancaster, SC, Willie George of Lancaster, SC, three sisters, Dorothy D.
Horton of Lancaster, SC, Gerria McGriff of Lancaster, SC, Shirley George of
Lancaster, SC, one grandchild, Elijah Coleman of Kershaw, SC and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Marion Blackmon.
