Beulah Mae Clyburn King, 92, peacefully passed away on July 9, 2024 at Atrium Health in Pineville, North Carolina. Born on January 30, 1932 in Kershaw, South Carolina, to the late Fletcher Clyburn Sr. and the late Beulah Mungo Clyburn.
Beulah accepted Christ at an early age and joined Rocky Branch Baptist Church. After marriage, she joined Mount Olive Baptist Church and accepted the duties and responsibilities as a dedicated member. She served as the Church Clerk for sixty-two years, Emeritus for four years and as a Deaconess for more than sixty five years. She truly loved her church and church family. She was a proud member of the Order of Eastern Star Pearly Gate Chapter #101
She was united in holy matrimony to Willie J. King Sr. who preceded her in death and to this union nine children were born.
She was educated in Lancaster County School System and graduated from Hillside High School. She was employed by Springs Industries and retired after many years of dedicated service.
She embraced life and loved to help others and would go above and beyond to provide support regardless of the need. She had a kind, gentle and fun-loving spirit with a smile. Solving crossword puzzle, watching game shows of which Wheel of Fortune was her favorite, fishing, preparing her flower garden, looking out of her front door and traveling was just a few of her favorite things to occupy her time.
However, her greatest passion was being with her family, laughing, eating and having fun just by being among each other.
Her desire was to be the best wife, mother, grandmother, family member and friend. To know her was to love her and she was loved by many.
