Boysie Clinton Bufford, 73, peacefully passed away on July 4, 2024. Born on June 1, 1951 in Lancaster, SC, to the late Mildred Bufford Foster, he was a beloved son, brother and friend who graced the lives of many with his, kindness, and infectious smile.
Boysie known as “Pete” was reared in a Christian environment and was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Lancaster, SC.
A 1969 graduate of Hillside High School, Petewas a beacon of light in his community. He was retired from Nutramax and Thomas and Betts. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and watching his Pittsburgh Steelers play. However,his greatest passion was spending time with his two god granddaughters that he loved dearly.
Pete was known for his personality and generous spirit. He had a natural gift for connecting with others, forming deep and meaningful friendships wherever he went. Hislaughter was contagious, filling every room with joy and warmth.
Rest in peace, Pete. You will be forever cherished and deeply missed.
He leaves to cherish fond memories are his brother, Cliff Bufford of Kershaw, SC, two sisters, Brenda Harris and Sallie McMurray (Woodrow) both of Lancaster, SC, nieces and nephews, Kenny (Darlynn), Carolyn, Tony, Tamya, Ashley, Carlethia and Artis (Sheratta), special friends, M. Lou Cauthen, Missy Robinson, god daughters, Shani Harris, Jailahand Ivy Nesbit and a host of many cousins, relatives and friends.
