Carol Santiago

Spc. Carol Santiago-Santiago 19 was called to her eternal home on Saturday March 16th, 2024. Carol was born on September 16th, 2004, in Monroe NC.

Spc. Carol entered Clinton Elementary School at an early age where she received first place on a drawing. Her art was published in the newspaper. 

Spc. Carol went to her parents’ home country of Mexico in 2010 until 2021. Upon Carol return she entered Lancaster High School where she graduated early due to her been advance in her study.

Spc. Carol was eagle to serve her Country, after graduating high school she joined the Army National Guard. After Carol finished basic training, she was selected to train as a Human Resource Specialist. Carol received The Army Service Ribbons.

Spc. Carol’s favorite color was purple, and she loved animals. Carols favorite stuff animal was Cachuchin. Carol was very reserved and very focused on her goals in life. Carol’s favorite quote was “THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SPEAK”.

Spc. Carol leaves to mourn her death her brother and best friend Chritopher Santiago-Santiago, Her Mother Cristina Santiago, Her Father Teofilo Santiago of Lancaster, Her Maternal grandmother Auria Ruiz and a host of aunts and uncles. She leaves a lot of family and friends. Carol leaves her Military Family, with whom she created a unique bond. 

Spc. Carol after completion of her Military Training she enrolled at University of South Carolina to pursue a Biomedical Engineering Degree. Carol was on the Dean’s List. Carol always gave her best at everything she did. 

Spc. Carol was a member of the 228th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade Army National Guard, Human Resource Specialist.

Celebration of her life will be on Friday April 12th,2024 at 10:00 the Bundy Auditorium Bradley building 476-D Hubbard Dr, Lancaster, SC 29720. 

The family will be receiving visit at 10:00 AM before the funeral and immediate after the Funeral in the multipurpose room, where will be refreshment.

Spc. Carol eternal rest will be at Fort Jackson National Cemetery on Wednesday April 17th,2024.

Spc. Carol Santiago-Santiago 19 años de edad, Fue llamada a su eterno hogar el Sabado

Marzo 16, 2024. Carol Nacio el 16 de Septiembre, 2004 en Monroe, NC.

Carol entro a la Escuela Elementaria Clinton Elementary School a una temprana edad, donde ella recivio el primer lugar en sus dibujos y su pintura fue publicada en el periodico.

Spc. Carol se fue al Pais natal de sus padres en Mexico en el 2010 hasta el 2021. Cuando Carol regreso ella entro a Lancaster High School donde ell se graduo temprano, ya que ella estaba muy avanzada en sus studio.

Spc. Carol le gustaba servir a su pais y decidio formar parte del Army National Guard despues que se graduo del Bachillerato. Donde recivio la Medalla de Army Service Ribbons.

El color favorito de Carol era el morado, Carol amaba los animals, su peluche favorito era Cachuchin. Carol era muy reservada y su Frase favorita era “PIENSA DOS VECES ANTES DE DECIRLO”.

Spc. Carol dejo en su morada de Muerte su hermano y major amigo Christopher Santiago-Santiago, Su Madre Cristina Santiago y su padre Teofilo Santiago, de Lancaster, SC. Tambien Su abuela materna Auria Ruiz. Ella dejo a sus tios y tias, y demas familiars y amigos. Carol Tambien dejo a su Familia Militar con la cual creo una coneccion muy especial.

Spc. Carol despues que termino su entrenamiento Militar ella entro a la Universidad de Carolina del Sur Lancaster. Ella era estudiante de Ingenieria Biomedica. Carol era estudiante meritoria y estaba en la Lista del Director de la Universidad (Dean’s List). Carol siempre dio lo major de ella en todo lo que hizo.

Spc. Carol era miembro del Battalon 228th Teather Tactical Signal Brigade del Army National Guard. Como especialista en el Departamento de Recursos Humanos. 

La celebracion de su vida sera el Viernes 12 de Abril, 2024 10:00 A.M. En el Bundy Auditorium Bradley Building 476-D Hubbard Dr, Lancaster, SC 29720. 

La Familia estara reciviendo visitas antes del funeral a las 10:00 AM y tambien inmediatamente despues del funeral el Viernes 12 de Abril en el Centro de eventos de la Universidad, donde tendran alimentos para los asistente.

Sus reto descanzaran eternamente en el Cementerio de Fort Jackson National Cemetery El Miercoles Abril 17th,2024.
