Christine Cauthen

Christine Jackson Cauthen, humbly bowed to God’s will and peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in Augusta, GA.  A daughter of the late Tom Jackson and the late Jearlean Drakeford was born May 21, 1958 in Lancaster County, South Carolina.

She was united in holy matrimony to Henry Lee Jones.

Christine as she was affectionally called was reared in a Christian environment and attended Ebenezer AME Zion Church.

Christine was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was  retired from Springs Industries. 

She was a passionate woman. Kind yet strong willed she brought peace to every situation. She loved to fish, work her garden, paint and play pool.  However, her greatest passion was spending time with family and friends.  To know her was to love her and she will be missed by all.

Left to cherish loving memories are a son, Travis J. Cauthen of Heath Springs, SC, a brother, Anthony Jackson of Kershaw, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Otis Jackson, Lee-ervin Jackson, Donald Jackson, two sisters, Geneva Jackson, Arlean Jackson
