In Loving Memory of Christopher McCollough
Christopher McCollough, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of joy, generosity, and kindness that touched the lives of all who knew him. Born on September 27, 1974 to Willie L. Grant and the Late Dianne Waters McCollough. Christopher was known for his infectious laughter, creative spirit, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
Christopher was educated in the Lancaster County school district and was a graduate of Lancaster High School Class of 1993. A self-employed landscaper, Christopher had a gift for transforming spaces into beautiful landscapes. He took pride in his work and found joy in shaping the world around him, leaving behind vibrant, living creations that will continue to grow and bloom in his memory.
Outside of his work, Christopher’s love for life was evident in everything he did. He had a passion for amusement parks, always seeking the thrill of adventure and excitement. Cooking was another of his talents, and his kitchen was often filled with the aroma of delicious meals prepared with love. His ability to bring people together over food and laughter was one of his greatest gifts.
Christopher had an impeccable sense of fashion, always stepping out with style and grace. But above all, he was known for his generous heart. He was constantly giving to others—whether through his time, his humor, or his thoughtful acts of kindness. His laughter was contagious, and he had a special way of making everyone around him feel seen, loved, and appreciated.
Christopher will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who shared in his laughter, love, and vibrant spirit.

RED 1
In memory of "Red One," a soul so bright,
A man who brought laughter, joy, and light.
With every smile, every joke, every kind deed,
You gave so much, always meeting a need.
Landscapes bloomed where your hands would tend,
Like your spirit, which knew no end.
You found adventure in every ride,
And in life’s kitchen, you thrived with pride.
Fashioned in style, always dressed with care,
Your presence was felt, everywhere.
But more than what you wore or what you gave,
It was the love you spread that made you brave.
A heart so generous, a laugh so true,
Red One, we’ll always remember you.
In every flower, in every smile,
You’ll be with us, mile after mile.
Though you’ve gone, your light remains,
In our hearts, through joy and pain.
Rest now, dear friend, your race is run,
We’ll forever miss you, our Red One.
