Clara Bell Johnson Crawford, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024 at the age of 86. The daughter of the late John Barnett and the late Annie Mae Johnson was born on April 22, 1938 in Rock Hill, SC. Clara lived a life filled with love, adventure, and a deep appreciation for nature and family.

Clara affectionally known as "Dolly" was raised in a Christian household and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was a dedicated member. Clara was educated in the Rock Hill School District and retired as a Dietician for White Oak Manor Nursing Home.

She was united in holy matrimony to Marion James Crawford for many years who preceded her in death.

Clara's passion for gardening brought her immense joy, and her vibrant flowers and lush plants were a testament to her nurturing spirit. She found peace in the soil and beauty in every bloom. She also loved traveling and exploring new places, creating cherished memories with loved ones along the way.

Her warmth, kindness, and generosity touched everyone she met. Clara had a way of making people feel at home, and her infectious laughter will remain a cherished memory for all who knew her.

Clara is survived by her loving family two daughters, Evelyn Springs and Sandra Crawford both of Lancaster, SC, a son, William Johnson Pearson of Charlotte, NC, a sister, Betty Massey of Lancaster, SC, three grandchildren, Tinisha Springs, Celetia Springs, Tanzue Shepard, three great grandchildren, Amor, Zion and Malik, son-in-law, Marlon Pearson of Charlotte, NC, special friend, Lucille Watson along with a host of extended relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by nine step children, Floree Harris, Margaret Potts, Charles 0. Crawford, Vernell Crawford, JT Crawford, Robert Crawford, Morris Crawford, James Crawford Jr., Rudolph Crawford, sister, Jessie Mae Johnson, two brothers, JC Johnson, William Henry Johnson.

Her life was a garden of love, and her legacy will forever bloom in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest peacefully in God's eternal care.
