Da’Quindrick Shyheem Blackmon, age 29, departed this earthly life on November 23, 2025, in Lancaster, South Carolina. He was born on August 31, 1996, to LaKeisha Ross and Christopher N. Blackmon, and was lovingly raised as well by his stepfather, Rico Williams.
Da’Quindrick was educated in the Lancaster County School District and proudly graduated from Lancaster High School with the Class of 2015. He was employed with Pizza Hut, where his warm spirit and upbeat personality made a lasting impression. His role was more than just a job—he took pride in keeping customers satisfied and coworkers smiling.
Creative, joyful, and full of life, Da’Quindrick enjoyed making music and was known for his unique talent and imagination. He also had an undeniable love for sweets. He was a huge Baltimore Ravens fan, cheering on his team with passion and pride. Above all, his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, sharing laughs, memories, and moments of love.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, LaKeisha Ross (Rico Williams) of Lancaster, SC; his father, Christopher N. Blackmon of Jacksonville, NC; five sisters, Zhi'QuerionimWilliams, Kahzyiah Williams, Jaytoa Wright, ArshekiaBlackmon, and Laqueisha Blackmon, all of Lancaster, SC; five brothers, Zhakevius Blackmon, Tyreek Williams, Messiah Williams, and Zakhiyus Williams, all of Lancaster, SC, and Shaquille Blackmon of Charlotte, NC.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Deloris Ross and Linder McCollough of Lancaster, SC, and Mary Blackmon of Rock Hill, SC; nine aunts, Roslyn Ross of Charlotte, NC, Tara Evans (Charles) of Lancaster, SC, Cyd Ross of Lancaster, SC, Nikita Warren of Jacksonville, NC, Dolanda Blackmon of Rock Hill, SC, Jamisha Holmes (Bucky) of Lancaster, SC, RoneshaMcMullen (Darese) of Lancaster, SC, Shadeerreah Blackmon of Lancaster, SC, and Tabitha McFall of Columbia, SC; one uncle, Roderick Nelson of Lancaster, SC; three nieces; three nephews; and a host of close cousins, friends, and extended family who loved him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roger Ross; paternal grandfather, Donald Lee Blackmon; great-grandmother, Ruth Ross; and uncle, Fredrick Ross, best friend, Allen Cooper Jr.
Da’Quindrick’s presence brought joy, laughter, and love to every space he entered. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
