David Tyrell Hood Jr.

David Tyrell Hood, Jr., humbly bowed to God’s will and peacefully entered
into eternal rest on Sunday June 18, 2023 in Charleston, South Carolina. A
son of David Lee Coffey and Linda Hood was born March 30, 1996 in
Lancaster, SC.
David accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age and was
reared in a Christian home.
David was employed by Wendy’s Restaurant and was interested in culinary
arts.
He was educated in the Lancaster County school district where he was a
graduate of Fort Mill High School. He furthered his education at Benedict
College in Columbia, SC. He had a love for music and sports. David was
very skillful and was great with children. He mentored with the Carolina
Elite Panthers which is a mentor, leadership and sports program. However
his greatest joy was spending time with family and counseling children. To
know him was to love him and he was loved by many.
Left to cherish loving memories his Parents, David Coffey and Linda Hood
of Lancaster, SC, father figure Cardova White of Fort Mill, SC, one brother,
Donelle Hood of Van Wyck, SC, two Sisters, Erica Witherspoon (Marquis)
of Lancaster, SC, Parish Miller Pride (Latora) of Charlotte, NC,
grandmother, Minnie Fletcher, Godparent, Genester Clyburn, special
friend, Mercedes Wade.
