Dwight Thomas Elder

(Lancaster) Dwight Thomas Elder, 68, died Friday, March 20, 2020, Private Funeral Service will be held Friday,  March 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM Crawford Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Kenneth Cauthen Officiant. Burial in the Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC.

Dwight Thomas Elder., a son of Bennie Mae Dye Elder and the late Willie Elder was born July 1, 1951 in Lancaster, South Carolina.

Survivors include his mother of Lancaster, SC, one daughter, Marilyn Jackson of Lancaster, SC, three sons, Dwight Jr., Nicholas and Takendrick Sherrill all of Lancaster, SC, four sisters, Willie   Jean Cannon of Augusta, GA, Gwendolyn Elder of Lancaster, Marilyn Cole and Bridgit Morris both of Richmond, VA; two brothers, Douglas Elder and Anthony Elder, Lamont Elder all of Lancaster, SC, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. 

 Crawford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
