Estella “Tiny” Jones, 78, peacefully passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, in Greer, South Carolina.
She was born on December 6, 1947, in Kershaw County, South Carolina, to the late Eddie Stover and the late Bulah Stover. Though small in stature, Estella was mighty in faith and love. Affectionately known as “Tiny,” she lived a life marked by devotion, service, and deep connections with family and friends.
Estella was a faithful member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church, where she cherished her church family and found great joy in worship and fellowship. She was a proud 1967 graduate of Hillside High School and remained spirited and actively involved with her classmates throughout her life, often reuniting and helping to plan class events.
She was employed by Duracell for many years, where she was known as an all-around, dedicated employee, until her well-earned retirement.
In her leisure time, “Tiny” enjoyed playing cards with friends, staying connected with her Hillside High School classmates, and attending gatherings filled with laughter and love. Above all, her favorite pastime was spending meaningful time with her family and friends, whom she loved dearly.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory two daughters, Daffenty Jones of Greenville, South Carolina, and Sharoan Jones of Spartanburg, South Carolina; one brother, Norman Stover of Clifton, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Kedarius Lynn and ZaylaJones, both of Spartanburg, South Carolina; two godchildren, Shnique Crockett and Troy Mingo both of Lancaster, SC and a special friend, Lewis Wilson, Sr.of Lancaster, South Carolina and a host of family and friends
In addition to her parents, Estella was preceded in death by her five brothers and five sisters.
Her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and warm presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
