Ethel Lee Morris, affectionately known as "Nancy" passed away peacefully on Monday November 25, 2024 in Columbia SC, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on March 18, 1947 in Kannapolis, NC, Ethel was a woman of warmth, joy, and devotion whose presence lit up every room she entered.
She was the daughter of the late Ethel Mae White and the late Odell Morris. She was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was a graduate of Barr Strect High School.
Ethel was best known for her love of cooking and her gift for bringing people together through food and laughter. Spending time with family and friends, especially her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren, was her greatest joy. Her nurturing spirit created countless unforgettable memories for those she loved.
She had a passion for life's simple pleasures: sitting outside to enjoy nature, dancing to her favorite tunes, and watching her favorite TV shows. Her vibrant personality and love for music often brought smiles and joy to everyone around her.
Ethel's life was a testament to love, family, and the importance of cherishing every moment.
She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unshakable devotion to her loved ones.
She is survived by three daughters, Michelle Stalk, Amy Stalk, Cathy Stalk all of Lancaster, SC, four sons, Terry Stalk, Eugene Stalk, Tony Stalk, James Stalk all of Lancaster, SC, a sister, Carol White of Lancaster, SC, a brother, Hubert White of Lancaster, SC, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, special granddaughter, Artnise Stalk of Lancaster, SC along with a host of rclatives and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Stalk, three sisters, Mamie Powers, Minnie Jones, Claire Morris, three brothers, O.C. Morris, Joseph Morris, Jerome White.
Ethel Lee Morris, our beloved Nana, will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
