Fannie Belle McClurkin Frazier, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024 at the age of 84. Born on April 19, 1940 in Liberty Hill, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Ben Wylie McClurkin and the late Lucille Sanders. Fannie lived a life devoted to faith, family, and the joy of creating beauty in all she touched.
She was a dedicated member of Camp Creek AME Zion Church. A faithful servant of the Lord, Fannie dedicated her life to teaching Sunday School, sharing the Word of God with wisdom and grace. Her lessons, rooted in scripture and love, inspired countless lives and planted seeds of faith that will continue to grow
She was united in holy matrimony to Bobby Lee Frazier Sr. who preceded her in death.
Fannie was a gifted homemaker who found delight in cooking delicious meals, sewing intricate designs, and quilting beautiful works of art that will be treasured for generations. Her love for gardening brought her peace, and her green thumb transformed simple soil into vibrant displays of life. Fannie’s talent for decorating was unmatched; she had a way of making every space feel warm, welcoming, and filled with love.
Fannie’s generosity, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family were the hallmarks of her character. She found her greatest joy in nurturing her loved ones, passing down her skills and values to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving family a son, Bobby Lee Frazier Jr. (Katie) of Lancaster, SC, four daughter, Joyce Greer (Gordette) of Clover, SC, Sharon White of Rock Hill, SC, Pamela Patterson, Corie Brown (Christopher) both of Lancaster, SC with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who cherished her dearly.
Fannie Bell McClurkin Frazier will be forever remembered for the beauty she created, the love she shared, and the faith she lived. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
