Mr. Forrest Edward Woodard, Jr. “Woody” was born February 8, 1993 in Lancaster, SC to Reverend Forrest Edward, Sr. and Wilma Twitty Woodard. At an early age he attended St. Paul A.M.E. Church and later joined Union Ezell A.M.E. Zion Church. Most recently, he attended Mt. Arart A.M.E. Zion church where he was a member of the usher board, lay council, and on the gospel choir. He was educated in the public schools of Lancaster County and was a 2011 graduate of Lancaster High School. There he excelled in baseball, basketball, and academics. He was an honor student and built lifelong friendships. Upon graduation, Forrest entered the workforce, beginning his career at Britax Child and Safety and then moved on to Bowater. With ambitions of working for himself and providing for his family, Forrest earned his CDL and began his trucking career. Over the years he worked for PFG and Riders and then secured an LLC to start his own trucking company in 2022, Tried & Tru Trucking, LLC.
In 2012, Forrest met the love of his life, formally Demetrious Gabrielle Gregory, of Chester, SC. The two united in holy matrimony on September 3, 2022. Their union was blessed with one daughter, Kylie Nore’l. He went above and beyond to ensure that his wife and daughter had all the things they desired. To all those who knew Forrest, his spirit was felt. He had a way of making everyone feel seen and loved. He was an amazing son, brother, father, husband, friend and a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan. Some of Forrest’s favorite pastimes included: motorcycle clubs, singing, car shows, spending time with his daughter, and making encouraging motivational videos.
