George Douglas Henderson, 80. died  Tuesday , May 2, 2023 . Funeral Service was held Saturday May 6, 2023 at  11:00 A.M Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Waldo Robinson  officiated. Burial in the church cemetery.

George D. Henderson,  a son of the late Robert Eustus Henderson  and the late Leona Richardson Henderson was born August 21,  1942 in Lancaster, South Carolina. He was married to Ina Mae Funderburk Henderson.

Survivors  include  his wife of Pageland, SC, three sons, Gernard Henderson, Reginald Henderson both of Pageland, SC, John D. Henderson of Indian Land, SC three daughters, LaVern Henderson Walker of Monroe, NC, Maxine Henderson Coleman  of Lancaster, SC, Karen Henderson of Pageland, SC, three brothers, David H. Henderson, Lathan Henderson both of Lancaster, SC, James L. McGriff of Columbia, SC, four sisters, Marie Thompson of Washington, DC, Sylvia Tate of Lancaster, SC, Doretha Sowell of Kershaw, SC, Kathy Henry of Rock Hill, SC,
