George Taylor, Sr.

(Lancaster) George “Tater” Taylor, Sr., 73, died Monday, November 5, 2018. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM Sandy Grove United Methodist Church , Rev. Marion Loretta Cooper will officiate. Burial in the church cemetery. Viewing will be Friday, November 9, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Crawford Funeral Home. 

George “Tater “Taylor, a son of the late Horace and Betty Blackmon Taylor was born July 7, 1945 in Lancaster, SC.  He was married to Mildred Danzy Taylor.

Survivors include, his wife of Lancaster, SC, one daughter, Melody A. Davis of Kershaw, SC, three sons, George Taylor Jr. of Harrisburg, NC, Ronald D. Taylor of Jefferson, SC, Steven L. Taylor of Kershaw, SC, one brother, Perry Taylor of Rock Hill, SC, four sisters, Betty Jean Jones of Lancaster, SC, Alice Shannon of Rock Hill, SC, Mary Taylor of Lancaster, SC, Terry Myers of Lancaster, SC, four grandchildren, one great grandchild.
