Mrs. Gladys Davis Blair, humbly bowed to God's will and peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at her home in Lancaster, South Carolina, surrounded by the love of family.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Richard Lee Davis and Mary Washington Davis. Gladys was educated in the Lancaster County School System. She was a dedicated participant of Lifeline Ministries.
Gladys was known for her warm and loving spirit.
She was a fantastic cook who enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. In her spare time, she loved to sew however, her greatest passion was taking care of her family.
She truly enjoyed life, especially the moments spent with her family, neighbors, and the love of her heart, her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her precious memories are one daughter, Genetta Blair of Lancaster, SC, three sons, David W. Blair of Charlotte, NC, Maurice Blair (Selena) of Spartanburg, SC, Juel Tillman (Ruby) of Virginia Beach, VA, nine grandchildren and two great grands, one brother Walter Davis of Waxhaw, NC, one aunt, Wilma Rhoney of Lancaster, SC, two sisters-in-law, Sarah Norwood, Barbara Davis both of Waxhaw, NC, god daughter, Pastor Pamela Williams, care givers, Sarah White, Killie McClenningham, Laurie Davidson, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Her presence, love, and guidance will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will truly be missed.
