Helen Hilton Obituary

Helen Hilton, age 92, peacefully entered into eternal rest, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Kershaw, South Carolina, she was the beloved daughter of the late Jack Hilton and the late Rose Lee Blackmon.

A devoted and lifelong member of Sand Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Helen faithfully served in numerous roles including the Usher Board, Missionary Committee, Kitchen Committee, and Sunday School. Her dedication to the Lord and her church community was unwavering. She was also a proud member of the Happy Hearts, where she enjoyed fellowship and encouragement among fellow senior members.

Educated in the Kershaw County School District, Helen went on to work as a Dietary Aide at Springs Memorial Hospital. Her warm and nurturing spirit extended beyond the workplace, touching the hearts of everyone she met. Helen was known for her sweet demeanor, her strong faith, and her giving heart.

Helen found joy in life's simple pleasures-baking for her loved ones, reading her Bible, and solving crossword puzzles. Her home was always filled with warmth, the smell of fresh baking, and open arms for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles D. Hilton and Chuck J. Hilton; two brothers, John T. Hilton and Roy L. Hilton; and two sisters, Ada L. Hilton and Betty Sue King, daughter-in-law, Rhonda Hilton
