James Lewis Cherry

(Lancaster) James Lewis Cherry, 75, died Sunday, January 19, 2020. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM, Crawford Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Kenneth Cauthen will officiate. Burial in the I.C. Clinton Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday, January 24, 2020 from 1:00 until 7:00 P.M. Crawford Funeral Home Lancaster.

James Lewis Cherry, a son of the late Dennie Lee Cherry Sr. and the late Ellen Wilson Cherry was born in Powellsville, NC on October  6, 1944.   He was married to Peggy Wells Cherry.

Survivors include, his wife of Fort Lawn, SC, two daughters, Audrey Franklin of Waxhaw, NC, Phylicia Cherry of Fort Lawn, SC, one son, Elliot Cherry of Atlanta Ga., four sisters, Emma Cherry and Marie Cherry both of Powellsville, NC, Dorothy Cherry of Suffolk, VA, Diane Cherry of Englewood, NJ, five brothers, Dennie Lee Jr, Donnell Cherry, both of Powellsville, NC, Adolph Cherry of Middleton CT, Charles Cherry of Newark, NJ, Mack Cherry of Englewood, NJ,  eight grandchildren.
