James Lee Blackmon, humbly bowed to God’s will and peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday December 16, 2022 at MUSC Lancaster, South Carolina. A son of the late Nataniel White and the late Leona Frazier was born October 15, 1954 in Lancaster, South Carolina.
James accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age and was an aspiring member of the kingdom embassy of Lancaster.
He was educated in the Lancaster County school district where he attended Barr Street High School. He was employed by Springs Mills until retirement. James embraced life and had a love for family, cooking and listening to music. To know him was to love him and he was loved by many.
Left to cherish loving memories his five sons, Issac Blackmon, Moses Blackmon both of Washington, D.C., Bishop Blackmon, Justice Blackmon, Tysheem Blackmon all of Lancaster, SC, three brothers, Joe Craig (Stephanie), James White both of Lancaster, SC, Wilbert Craig (Geneva) of Charlotte, NC, two sisters, Betty Craig-Rhoney, Annie Marie both of Lancaster, SC, nine grandchildren, Special Friends, Rusty and Michelle Catoe of Lancaster, SC and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Gene Blackmon, Chris White, Reb Craig, a sister, Avis Marie.
