James "JC" Stover

James “JC” Stover, 77. died Wednesday , May 17, 2023 . Funeral Service will be  Saturday, May 27, 2023 at  2:00 P.M Mt. Zion AME Zion Church , Rev. Tammy Wheeler will  officiate. Burial , Mt. Calvary AME Zion Church Cemetery. Viewing Friday May 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

James “JC ”,  a son of the late Albert Stover and the late Onie Bell Waiters Stover was born November 22, 1945 in Lancaster, South Carolina. He was married to Rev. Gloria Ingram Stover.

Survivors include: his wife of Lancaster, SC, three daughters, Rev. Tammy S. Wheeler, Jeanette Stover, Marquettia S. Stover all of Lancaster, SC, one son Frederick L. Stover of Lancaster, SC, adopted brother, Rev. Dr. Lloyd Snipes of Rock Hill, SC, two sisters, Barbara S. McEntyre of Lancaster, SC, Marsha Smith of Virginia Beach ,VA, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in honor of James Stover and Barbara Stover McEntyre to be made to the Stover Legacy Foundation scholarship fund.
