Obituary for James Albert Talford Jr.
James Albert Talford Jr., a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024 at the age of 71. Born on December 6, 1953 in Chester, SC,James lived a life full of love, adventure, and cherished memories.
The son of the late James Albert Talford, Sr and the late Mattie Ann McClinton was raised in a Christian environment and attended Mt. Arant Methodist Church. He was employed by Springs Industries and Walmart before retiring.
James found great joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, spending quiet moments by the water, and enjoying the serenity it brought. He also had a playful spirit and could often be found immersed in games, sharing laughter and camaraderie with those he loved. Watching movies was another favorite pastime, allowing him to escape into new worlds and stories. His adventurous soul led him to a passion for traveling, exploring new places, and creating lasting memories with family and friends James was a man of warmth and kindness, known for his generous heart and unwavering love for his family. His laughter, wisdom, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter Harriett Daniel (Teron) and her mother Herrietta George Talford of Lancaster, SC, three sisters, Lois Craig (Clyde), Margaret Kelly, Mary Diane Talford all of Lancaster, SC, three brothers, Dennis Lee Talford (Ruth), Willie Talford Jr., (Vickie Ann), Curtis B. Talford all of Lancaster, SC, along with a host of relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
James Albert Talford Jr. will be fondly remembered for his love of life, his devotion to his family, and the Joy he brought to those around him. May he rest in eternal peace.
