Jamiree "Tray" McCrorey

Jamiree Datravious McCrorey vowed to God’s will and entered eternal
rest on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in Great Falls, South Carolina. He was a son of Derrick
McCrorey and Kishina Gill born October 24, 1996 in Lancaster, South Carolina. 
Affectionally known as “Tray” he was educated in the York County school system and attended
Rock Hill High School where he played basketball and participated in sports. He
was a skillful diesel mechanic and could repair almost anything.
Tray was a beloved son, brother, and friend known for his unwavering enthusiasm for
motorcycle drag racing immersing himself in the world of forging lifelong friendships with
fellow riders who shared his passion. An avid cornhole player and die-hard New Orleans Saints
fan he was a unique soul, with a strong spirit that was evident to anyone who crossed his path.
Tray had a heart of gold. He was a caring friend who would go to great lengths to help those in
need, a kind son who always made his family proud, and a loving brother who shared a special
bond with his sister and friends that will forever endure. Tray could be found anywhere giving
someone a helping hand. He was such a humble, well mannered, respectful gentle giant who
liked to laugh. He was looking forward to joining the Air Force and serving his country. A
vibrant and passionate young man who lived his life to the fullest. He was taken from us far
too soon, leaving a void that can never be filled. Tray will be remembered for his infectious
smile, his zest for life, and his solid commitment to the things he held dear. While his physical
presence may be gone, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of
knowing him.
