Jeanette Sanders Watts, age 77, peacefully entered eternal rest on July 3, 2025. She was born on December 26, 1947, in Van Wyck, South Carolina, to the late Raymond Sanders and the late Ebbie Nesbit Sanders.
Jeanette was a member of North Corner AME Zion Church, where her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She received her education in the Lancaster County School District and went on to build a long and dedicated career at Springs Industries, where she worked diligently for 33 years before her retirement.
Jeanette was married to Clyde Watts.
Jeanette had a vibrant spirit and an active lifestyle - she enjoyed traveling and walking, but what brought her the most joy was spending quality time with her family and friends. Her warm smile, kind heart, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving daughter, Jennifer Mingo of Conyers, GA; her devoted stepson, Sheldon Watts of Florida; three caring sisters:
Linda Sanders Green of Lancaster, SC, Margaret Deloris Sanders of Lancaster, SC, and Evonne Sanders of Charlotte, NC; five beloved brothers: Jerry Sanders of Lancaster, SC, Randy Sanders (Beatrice) of Covington, GA, James Sanders of Lancaster, SC, Robert Sanders Jr.(Mary Ann) of Lancaster, SC, and John Sanders of Charlotte, NC.
She was preceded in death by seven sisters, Hattie Mae Massey, Annie Ruth Sanders, Nevada Sanders Washington, Billie Anne Sanders Massey, Lottie Mae Sanders, Diane Sanders, Teresa Sanders, two brothers, Robert Lewis Richardson, William Raymond (Grit) Sanders.
She is also remembered fondly by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
May Jeanette's legacy of faith, love, and family devotion continue to inspire all whose lives she touched.
