Jessie Wade Ill, a devoted family man and hardworking individual, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024 at the age of 80. Born on November 25, 1944 in Lancaster, SC, Jessie lived a life filled with passion, resilience, and an appreciation for the great outdoors.
The son of the late Jessie Wade Jr. and the late Eula Mae Brown Wade was raised in a Christian environment and attended Red Hill Baptist Church. He was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was Owner of Wade Logging.
Jessie was a proud pulpwood truck driver whose dedication to logging reflected his strong work ethic and connection to the land.
When not working, he pursued his love for deer hunting, a cherished pastime that allowed him to connect with nature and find solace in the wilderness. Jessie was also a talented craftsman with a passion for restoring old cars, bringing life back to classic vehicles and preserving their beauty for future generations. He also had a passion for gaming and would play the lottery especially scratch offs tickets.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family. Jessie's life was a testament to hard work, humility, and the joy of simple pleasures.
He is survived by a brother Ricky Wade of Lancaster, SC, three nephews, Keith Wade, Rick Massey, Keshawn Wade all of Lancaster, SC, two nieces, Monique Massey of Fort Mill, SC, Barbara Ann Wade of Lancaster, SC, special friends, Dinies Craig and Ann Strain of Lancaster, SC as well as a host of extended relatives and friends who will forever treasure the time spent with him.
Jessie Wade Ill leaves behind a lasting impression on all who knew him, and his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved.
