Johnny Lee Carter Jr.

Mr. Johnny Lee Carter Jr., 39, of Lancaster, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on April 19, 2025. Born on January 23, 1986, in Lancaster, he was the beloved son of Alease Hunt and the late Johnny Carter Sr.

Johnny was a proud and dedicated employee at Lazer Spot, where he worked in logistics. He was a member of Zamar Church, where his faith in God was a guiding light in his life. A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Johnny was a man known for his generous heart, his hardworking spirit, and his deep love for his family.

Johnny had a passion for working on cars, often seen with his hands busy under the hood, sharing laughs and stories with those around him. He cherished spending time with his loved ones and brought joy and energy wherever he went.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife, Theresa Marie Carter of Lancaster, SC; one beloved son, Jaden Tristen Carter of Lancaster, SC; his mother, Alease Hunt of Lancaster, SC; one sister, Johnnie Mae Massey of Lancaster, SC; two brothers, Ronald Hunt and Aaron Jermaine Hunt (Kiahleigh); maternal grandparents, Helen and Bruce Hunt; godparent, Andrew Harris; three nephews, Christopher Demond Carter Sr., Anthony Rodriekus Carter, and Ixzul Pousa; three nieces, Yakisha Deleon Carter, Aryn Hunt, and Ava Popillion; two sisters-in-law, Latoya Pousa and Annette Marie Popillion; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Carter Sr., a brother, Tyrone Hunt.

Johnny will be remembered for his warm smile, his loyalty, and the love he poured into every relationship. Though his time on Earth was far too short, the memories and moments shared will remain with us forever.
