Jokari Delresse Tharaeparambil, affectionately known as JJ was born on March 19. 2000, to Pearl Robinson Tharaeparambil and the late David Tharaeparambil. He departed this life on March 13, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished JJ was educated in the Lancaster School District and was employed by Giti Tires. He was a vibrant soul who brought countless hours of joy, challenge, and peace to chose who knew and loved him.
JJ had a deep passion for playing video games, which served as a gateway to adventure and imagination. Through countless quests, levels, and virtual worlds, he found excitement, laughter, and the thrill of accomplishment. It was a place where his creativity thrived and friendly competition flourished.
He also had a love for chess, the timeless game of strategy that sharpened his mind and rewarded patience and thoughtfulness. Each move reflected planning, foresight, and determination, teaching him lessons in both victory and defeat and reminding him that every challenge is an opportunity to grow.
At a young age, JJ was introduced to music, learning to play both the clarinet and saxophone. In his free time, he found joy, passion, and self-expression through these instruments, using them to connect with others and share his inner spiric.
Fishing was another pastime JJ held dear. It provided him with quiet moments beside the water, where life slowed down. Whether enjoying early mornings or peaceful reflection, fishing brought him a sense of calm and appreciation for nature, patience, and the beauty found in stillness.
JJ leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Pearl R. Tharaeparambil of Heach Springs, South Carolina; his beloved son, Josiah Tharaeparambil of Heath Springs South Carolina; four brothers, Trevis Rutledge (Carolyn) of Columbia, South Carolina, Jokari Jones (Tiffany) of Now York, New York, Shamari Jones (Alicia) of Columbia, South Carolina, and Jomari Tharaeparambil of Heath Springs, South Carolina; three sisters, Niconya Tharaeparambil and Aisha Tharaeparambil, both of Heath Springs, South Carolina, Nalaya Jones of Buffalo, NY; and his fiancé, Ryan Hannah of Heath Springs, SC.
Though his time here was brief, JJ’s life was filled with meaning, love, and connection.
His presence will be deeply, missed, bur his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
