Kary "Duke" Caldwell Jr.

Kary "Duke" Caldwell Jr., 42, of Lancaster, South Carolina, passed away on June 8, 2025. Born on October 19, 1982, in Lancaster, he was the beloved son of Brenda Coleman Caldwell and Kary Caldwell.

Duke was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was known by many for his warm heart and welcoming spirit. He never met a stranger and always brought joy and laughter to those around him.

He especially loved the outdoors and cherished spending time with his family and friends. Above all, he deeply loved his mother, whom he proudly called his best friend.

He is survived by his loving parents, Brenda Caldwell and Kary Caldwell, both of Lancaster, SC; his daughter, D'kHyia Caldwell of Lancaster, SC; two sisters, Kenyatta Caldwell and Brandie Caldwell, also of Lancaster, SC; and one cherished grandchild.

Kary "Duke" Caldwell Jr. will be remembered as a good man, a kind soul, and a light in the lives of all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
