Kimberly McMurray White

Kimberly McMurray White, 60, entered into eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith. She was born to the late Maxwell "Red" McMurray and the late Ora Lee Dean and was a proud graduate of Lancaster High School, Class of 1983, where she earned honors. Continuing her education, she received an associate degree from the University of South Carolina Lancaster in 1986.

A faithful and devoted member of Mt. Tabor AME Zion Church, Kimberly served with dedication in various capacities, including as a member of the Cheerful Givers, Home Mission Worker, Stewardess Board #2, and a former member of the Mt. Tabor Order of Eastern Star. She was also actively involved as a Conference Worker and contributed to the Mt. Tabor Community Youth.

Kimberly had a passion for reading, watching television, and most importantly, spending quality time with her beloved family and friends. She had a natural gift for making those around her feel welcome, exuding warmth and friendliness that uplifted every room she entered. With a heart full of laughter and a spirit that radiated joy, she was truly a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her.

Her memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy of faith, service, and love will continue to inspire generations to come. Though she has departed from this earthly life, her spirit will remain in the hearts of all who loved her.

Kim is survived by her two daughters, Kalen Lea and Kamaron Wilson (Decario) both from Rock Hill, SC, bonus daughter, Laiessa McGriff of Rock Hill, SC, bonus sons, Breon McGriff and Demetrice McCullough both of Rock Hill, SC, two sisters, Lynn Knox (Paul) of Lancaster, SC, Selena Brown of Bowie, MD, four grandchildren, Carlaiya Wilson, Khyia Patterson, Morgan Wilson, Decario Wilson Jr., god children, Demario Hilton, LaKeisha McWhirter both of Lancaster, SC, special friends, Sharlene Drakeford, Margaret E. Belk, Angela Davis, Nikita Price, Phyllis Wilson, Michelle Truesdale-Harris and a host of other family members, friends, and church family members who will remember her with deep affection.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Eric McMurray.

May she rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of the Lord.
