Larry Ingram Jr. journey began on February 21, 1984, in Lancaster, South
Carolina born to Larry Ingram and Katherine T. Ingram Coffey. His journey was
completed on November 14, 2022, at his home in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Larry was educated in the public schools of Lancaster County and was a 2002
graduate of Lancaster High School. At an early age he accepted Christ and was
affiliated with Mt. Carmel A.M.E Zion Church, Larry was always told to sit down,
be quiet and pay attention in church.
Larry was employed with Meritor of York, South Carolina and later obtained a
position at Qure Medical of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Those who knew him, loved him for he touched the lives of many. Larry was a
lovable, genuine, and fun person to be around, he was always considered to be
the life of the party. He embraced life, and in his leisure, he loved fishing, cooking
out, having family and friend gatherings, playing cards, gaming on his Xbox, fixing
on his car, talking junk and eating pinto beans and cornbread was a must.
Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Selvin and Inez
Thompson, and the late George Sr and Ola Ingram.
Those left to Celebrate and cherish his memories are his mother, Katherine T.
Coffey of Lancaster, SC, his father, Larry Ingram of Lancaster, SC, four sons, Elyjah
Sowell of Kershaw, SC, Jamyjhae Ingram, Ja’Ontae Ingram, Larry Ingram III all of
Lancaster, SC, One daughter Lyriq Ingram of Fort Lawn, SC, Four brothers Ernest
Thompson of Virginia, VA, Byron Coffey of Lancaster, SC, Dr. Laurice Ingram of
Lancaster, SC, Gabriel Ingram of Rock Hill, SC. Three sisters Mary Blair of
Lancaster, SC, Kimberly lngram, of Lancaster, SC, Latrice Coffey of Rock Hill, SC.
Extended brothers and sisters, Reco (Takeila) Montgomery of Lexington, SC,
Charquavis Allen, Markita Winfield, Kenchika Winfield, all of Lancaster, SC, six
