Laura Anthony entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. She was born on October 31, 1950, in Lancaster, South Carolina, to the late Willie Caldwell and the late Annie Mae Blair.
Laura was united in holy matrimony to Franklin Tyrone Anthony. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose presence brought warmth to all who knew her. Laura found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved fishing, going out to eat, and most of all, spending quality time with her family. She was also devoted to attending church. where she found strength and comfort.
Left to cherish her precious memories are four daughters, Samera B. Lockhart (Micheal), Latoya Blair (Mike Shields), Wanda McKinney (Micheal), and Stacy Cureton, all of Lancaster, SC; one son, Jerome Anthony of Marshville, NC; one brother, John Hood (Alma) of Lancaster, SC; thirteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her beloved mother-in-law, Mrs. Viola Anthony; special friend, Linda Crawford along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Hemphill and a granddaughter, Jakievia Blair.
Laura's loving spirit, kind heart, and devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
