Linda Sue Bumgardner Washington, 74, sadly passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023, at the home of her beloved sister. funeral service Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2: 00 PM Mt, Zion Baptist church Waxhaw, Rev. Lothel Boyd officiated. Burial in the church cemetery. Viewing Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 1;00 until 5:00 at the funeral home. Linda was a dedicated child of God, and she proudly served the lord for the last 40 years of her life. She was a member of Adventure in Faith, in Alexis, North Carolina. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Andrew and Frances Bumgardner. She is survived by her husband, Richard Washington, two brothers, Mike (Faye) Bumgardner and Joe (Christine) Bumgardner, sister Elaine (Chuck) Morrow, two sons, Bobby (Sonia) McAbee, and Timmy (Jenny)McAbee. In addition to her children, she has 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several step-kids and step-grandkids. she also has two nieces that were very special to her. Linda was outgoing and loved to worship the Lord. She loved her family, and her family loved her greatly. Linda will be missed, but we know she is with her heavenly father.
