Lucille Watts Flowers, 78, of Lancaster, SC, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. She was born to the late James Henry Watts and the late Mary McDonald Watts and was a proud graduate of Lancaster High School.
Lucille was a dedicated member of Second Baptist Church, where she found strength in her faith and community. She was united in marriage to Frank Flowers for sixty years with whom she built a life full of love and devotion. Lucille retired as a machine operator from Duracell, where she was a hardworking and respected employee.
She was a loving mother to her daughters, Angela Flowers Dixon (Ronnie) of Irmo, SC, and Synthia Flowers Bethea of Charlotte, NC, and her son, Frank F. Flowers (Dulsy) of Vlaardingen, Netherlands. She also leaves behind her sister, Mary Helen Watts of Lancaster, SC, and her brothers, Robert Watts (Kathy) of Lancaster, SC, and Odell Watts of Monroe, NC. Her love extended to her five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.
Lucille’s warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will forever be treasured by her family and friends. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit remains in the hearts of those she touched.
