Mary (“Jean”) accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful, dedicated member of Bethlehem Temple Pentecostal Church in Detroit, MI, and later joined the Anointed Word Church in Lancaster, SC. She enjoyed attending Sunday School and serving with the kitchen and hospitality ministries. Jean loved her entire family. She took tremendous pride in raising her four children. She had a passion for keeping her extended family close by organizing and hosting family reunions, most recently in 2022 in Charlotte, NC. Mary never met a stranger, and never refused to help a family member or friend in need of assistance. Her personal interests and hobbies included flower gardening, cooking, hosting dinner parties, and collecting pictures in her scrapbooks.
