Micheal Grier, 70, of Tacoma, Washington, peacefully departed this life on February 19, 2026. Born on June 23, 1955, in Lancaster, South Carolina, he was the beloved son of the late Bubba Eugene Mackey and the late Margaret Grier.
A proud 1973 graduate of Lancaster High School, Micheal dedicated his career to the care of others, retiring as a respected Mental Health Technician. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he was a faithful member of the Tacoma Central Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Micheal truly embraced the joy of community and was known for his warm spirit and love for socializing with his family and friends. Whether at home or in his adopted city of Tacoma, his presence brought light to those around him.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Shameka Grier of Lancaster, SC; two sisters, Janice Culp and Crystal Culp, both of Lancaster, SC; along with three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
