MINISTER CLAYTON ALEXANDER THOMPSON JR
Min. Clayton Alexander Thompson, Jr. (Bird) peacefully passed away July 31, 2023, at MUSC Lancaster, SC. He was the son of the late Clayton Alexander Thompson Sr. and Nanie Edna Shannon Thompson. He was formerly married to YEvonne Walker Thompson.
Survivors are former wife, of Heath Springs, SC; his children, Clayton A. Thompson, III (Carolyn) of Columbia, SC, and Shardae Dike (Eric, Sr.) of Salisbury, NC, his siblings: Vicky Moten (Alphonso, Sr.) of Charlotte NC, Kenneth Thompson, Sr. (Mazola), John Earl Thompson (Anita), and Gordon Thompson, Sr. (Debra), all of Lancaster, SC, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be August 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM St. John Baptist Church, Lancaster, SC, conducted by Pastor Billy Barnes.
The committal will be inside St. John Baptist Church.
Viewing will be from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm, Friday August 4, 2023, at Crawford Funeral Home, Lancaster, SC.
