Nathan Foster, 64, peacefully passed away on January 7, 2026. He was born on May 17, 1961, to the late Dan Massey and the late Willie Mae Rhoney Foster.
Nathan was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was a proud member of the graduating Class of 1980. He was employed by Boral Brick for many years, where he was known as a dedicated and dependable worker.
A man who truly appreciated the beauty of nature, Nathan found peace and relaxation while fishing. Gifted by nature, Nathan was also an outstanding cook, well known for preparing delicious meals both in the kitchen and on the grill. Above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends.
Nathan leaves to cherish his memory his six sons:
Derek Foster of Lancaster, SC; Quentin Hall (Monique) of Greenville, SC; Sam Gaston of Great Falls, SC;
Connell Crawford of Lancaster, SC; Rodrickcus Foster of Lancaster, SC; and Daniel Foster of Rock Hill, SC; two daughters: Brittany Bagley (Michael) of Chester, SC, and Shanquavious Cousar-Foster of Charlotte, NC; five brothers: James Blair, William Foster, Ricky Foster, Arthur Foster, and Lavon Foster, all of Lancaster, SC; two sisters: Edith Adams and Clara Foster, both of Lancaster, SC; one brother-in-law, Robert Adams of Lancaster, SC; fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Nathan was preceded in death by two sisters, Jannie Foster and Ella Foster.
Nathan Foster will be lovingly remembered for his kind heart, warm spirit, and the joy he brought to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
