Nathan L. Reid, 59, a man of great skill, humble spirit, and a heart full of kindness, peacefully entered eternal rest on February 26, 2025. Born to Ethel Reid and the late Nathaniel Reid, Nathan was a gifted craftsman who could fix anything and took pride in using his hands to create, restore, and build.
He was united in holy matrimony to Janice Craig Reid who preceded him in death.
Beyond his craftsmanship, Nathan was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, never missing a chance to cheer for his favorite team. Win or lose, he stood by them, just as he did with those he loved.
Left to cherish fond memories two daughters, Shericka Jackson (Jequavius) of Lancaster, SC, Tanquila Craig of Fort Mill, SC, two sons, Vick Reid of Lancaster, SC, Davanta Craig of Fort Mill, SC, five sisters, Tanya Criss (Carleton), Leslie Lee, Sandra Reid, Shaquana Brown all of Lancaster, SC, Marilyn Williams of Winston Salem, NC, three brothers, Kevin Lee of Lancaster, SC, Micheal Wiseman of Winston Salem, NC, Winifred Reid of Winston Salem, NC, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of family and devoted friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kenyata Craig.
Rest in peace, Nathan. Your work on Earth is done, but your spirit remains with us always.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
