Norma, the beloved daughter of the late Gertrude Stewart Ross and Eugene (Ted) Hood, was a devout Christian whose life radiated with the light of her faith. She dedicated herself to serving the Lord and her family, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In the sacred bonds of matrimony, Norma was united with her loving husband, Joe Chambers. Together, they raised a family filled with love, wisdom, and Christian values. Their three sons, Ray Chambers, Terry Chambers, and Todd Chambers have been blessed with her guidance and love.
Norma's dedication to her family extended to her work in Human Resources, a career she embraced with grace and professionalism. Her journey through the corporate world culminated with her retirement from Wells Fargo in 2018, leaving a legacy of hard work and integrity.
Norma is survived by her devoted husband, Joe Chambers; her sons, Ray, Terry, and Todd Chambers; her precious grandchildren, including Tanisha, T.J., Donyella, Teghan, Sy’rae, Kylie, and D’Rae; as well as her sisters, Blondella Ross and Yvonne McClanahan. She was the heart and soul of her family, a source of strength, and a guiding light throughout life's journey.
Beyond her immediate family, Norma touched the lives of countless others. She was a friend to many, a neighbor who radiated warmth and compassion, and a colleague who offered support and kindness. Her love and faith were not confined to her own but extended to everyone she met. Norma Chambers is remembered with deep affection by those fortunate enough to have known her.
As we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, we also celebrate her enduring love and unwavering faith.
