Odell "Joe" Stevenson

Odell Stevenson, humbly bowed to God’s will and quietly entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in Great Falls, South Carolina.  A son of the late Freddie L. Terry was born February 6, 1947 in Lancaster, South Carolina.

Odell was employed by Shepard and William Trucking and DH Griffin as a Truck Driver and Demolition Crew Leader.

Odell was kindhearted and enjoyed being in the company of people. He loved fishing and enjoyed telling his version of stories under the neighborhood  tree, “The Tree of Wisdom”. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends that he loved dearly.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. 

     Left to cherish these and other fond memories are his three sons, Gary Stevenson (Audrey) of  Lancaster, SC, Ricky Stevenson of Lancaster, SC, Odell Stevenson Jr. of Odenton, MD, two daughters, Kishina Gill of Rock Hill, SC, Anita Howze-Thornwell of Rock Hill, SC, and a host of grandchildren, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his 6 sisters.
