Pamela Michelle Blair, 57, a beloved mother, wife and friend, went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2025. Born on December 31, 1967 in Lancaster, SC to the late John Hayden and Annie Clyburn. Pamela was a gentle soul who lived a life filled with faith, love, and appreciation for the simple joys of life.
Pamela was a devoted member of God's Holy Temple, where her faith in the Lord guided her daily life.
She was united in holy matrimony to James Darren Blair Sr.
She was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was a 1986 graduate of Lancaster High School. Pamela was self employed and was owner of a home cleaning service.
Pamela found peace and beauty in God’s creation, delighting in flowers, the delicate presence of hummingbirds, and capturing life's precious moments through photography. A lover of puzzles, Pamela enjoyed the quiet satisfaction of solving each piece, much like how she approached life—with patience and care.
She is survived by a son, James Darren Blair Jr. of Lancaster, SC, three daughters, Janay Blair, Jasmine Blair both of Lancaster, SC, Jewel Blair of Charlotte, NC, a brother, Louis Belk (Mishel) of Rock Hill, SC, a sister, Teresa Davis of Charlotte, NC, six grandchildren, mother-in law, Pastor Betty Blair of Lancaster, SC and a host of family members, church family, and friends who loved her deeply.
Pamela was preceded in death by a brother, John Lewis Hayden.
Pamela Michelle Blair will forever be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love of nature, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
