Pamela Jackson Page, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on September 11, 2023 at
the age of 60. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever
remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Pamela was born on November 3, 1962, in Lancaster, SC, to her loving parents the late Joe B. Jackson
and Mamie M. Jackson. From an early age, it was evident that Pamela possessed a vibrant spirit and a
passion for life that would define her journey. She embraced every moment with enthusiasm, curiosity,
and a heart full of kindness.
Pamela was reared in Centennial AME Zion Church and later joined St. Paul AME Church where she
enjoyed her church family. She served as Secretary for the Dorothy Lee Davis Missionary Society and
would assist when needed.
She was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was a 1981 graduate of Lancaster High
School. Sergeant Pamela Page served 23 years of service and retired from the Army National Guard. She
especially enjoyed being stationed at Fort Worth in Texas. She furthered her education at Queens
College obtaining a Medical Administration Certification. She also attended the Truck Driver Institute
and the South Carolina Department of Correctional Academy. She was employed by Northern Tools.
In addition to her globetrotting adventures, Pamela had a passion for puzzles – you name it, she loved
them all. Her dedication to solving intricate puzzles was a testament to her sharp mind and unwavering
patience. She often shared her puzzle-solving tips and challenged friends and family to join in the fun,
creating lasting memories and bonding moments.
Pamela's DIY projects were a reflection of her creative spirit. She had a remarkable talent for turning
ordinary objects into works of art. From repurposing furniture to crafting handmade gifts, her creative
endeavors were a labor of love that brought joy to those who received her handmade treasures.
Beyond her hobbies and passions, Pamela was a loving and caring individual who cherished her family
and friends above all else. Her warm smile, infectious laughter, and genuine kindness made her the heart
of any gathering. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel valued and loved.
Pamela is survived by her mother, Mamie M. Jackson, daughter, Tonya Rae Jackson of Lancaster, SC,
two brothers, Larry Lee Jackson and Timothy Jackson both of Lancaster, SC, a sister, Betty “Joe” George
of Lancaster, SC, daughter-in-love, Nicole Clinton, a sister-in-love, Pearl Miller, five grandchildren, Alise
Anne Johnson-Pinckney, Eliijah D. Johnson-Pinckney, Cameron Blair, Quincy Wyatt Rainey, Tristan J.
Page, sister-in-law, Brenda Jackson of Lancaster, SC who will forever remember her as a source of
inspiration and love.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe B. Jackson, son, Joshua Camana Page, brother, Phillip
Douglas Jackson, two nephews, William “Billy” Blackmon, Jamon Jackson
