Patricia McCain Wooton

Mrs Patricia Lane McCain Wooten, humbly bowed to God’s will and peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC.  The daughter of the late Odell McCain and the Late Willie Mae McCain was born on May 20, 1960 in Lancaster, SC.

Patricia affectrionally known as Sissy Gal accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of New Light Beulah Baptist Church.  She later joined Bibleway Church in Columbia, SC where she was a faithful member and enjoyed singing on the choir.

She was married in holy matrimony to Wayne Wooten.

Patricia was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was a 1978 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in Kershaw, SC.  She was employed by Three Rivers Midlands in Columbia, SC.

Patricia was passionate about everything she did.  She enjoyed life, family and singing on the church choir.  She loved taking pictures, decorating and shopping.  She would organize family outings for her nieces and nephews that she was very passionate about doing.  To know her was to love her and she will be missed by all.

Left to cherish loving memories is her husband, Wayne Wooten, five brothers, Stanley McCain of Lancaster, SC, Jerome McCain of Heath Springs, SC, Carson McCain (Darnell) of Atlanta, GA, twin Patrick McCain (Karen) OF Seattle, WA, Eric McCain of Lancaster, SC, two sisters, Faye Belton (Calvin) of Heath Springs, SC, Hope Alexander of Lancaster, SC, sister-in-law, Brenda McCain of Rock Hill, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles McCain
