Reginald Neal Rhoney, affectionately known as “Reggie,” was born on July 10, 1981, in Lancaster, South Carolina, to Betty Rhoney. He departed this life on April 13, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Neal Rhoney, who lovingly raised him and played an instrumental role in shaping the man he became.
Reggie attended Chosen Anointed Ministry. He was a vibrant and spirited person whose presence brought warmth and joy to those around him. He had a deep love for nature, especially fishing with his brother, family, and friends. A man of many talents, Reggie enjoyed cooking and carpentry—anything that allowed him to work with his hands and express his creativity.
Reggie was employed in construction and was also self-employed in carpentry, where he used his skill and craftsmanship to create and build with care and precision. He was also a huge Raiders fan and took great pride in cheering on his team.
Reggie’s greatest passion was spending time with family and friends, fellowshipping, and simply enjoying life. His laughter, kindness, and genuine love for others made a lasting impression. He will be deeply missed, and truly, to know him was to love him.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Betty Rhoney of Lancaster, SC; his biological father, Crawford Hilton of Lexington, NC; three sons, Grant Rhoney and Jayce Rhoney, both of Lancaster, SC, and Jaylen Miller of Cherokee, VA; two daughters, Yasmin Rhoney and Haley Rhoney, both of Lancaster, SC; four brothers, Macieo Rhoney of Lancaster, SC, Kingston Hilton, Crawford Hilton Jr., and William Mabry, all of Lexington, NC; three sisters, LaPorcha Rhoney Walker (Kenneth) of Lancaster, SC, Sheneka Hilton, and Sequoia Norman, both of Lexington, NC; three cousins who were like sisters, Makeisha Twitty Barber, Tanisha Craig, both of Lancaster, SC, and Trenita Craig of Charlotte, NC; his grandmother, Wilma Rhoney; special friends, Tony Jackson, Javon Twitty, Kirk Crump, and Jonah Faile; devoted caregivers, Linda Washington and Betty Tidwell; along with a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
Reggie’s life and legacy will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
