Rev. James F. Herbert , 88, died Saturday, November 4, 2023, Funeral Service was held Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. New Hope AME Zion Church, Rev. Barbara Benjamin officiated

Rev. James F. Herbert,  a son of the late Rev. William F. Herbert and Hattie Jane Herbert was born September 7, 1935 in Anson County, North Carolina.   He was married to Louise Jones Herbert

Survivors include, his wife of Lancaster, SC. sons, Franklin Herbert Jr. of King George, VA, Kelly R. Herbert of Yonkers, NY, daughters, Sarah J. Blakeney-Pope of Reaford, NC, Lula J. Hartwig of Boonsboro, MD, Debra Miller of York, SC.
